Have you checked whether you have notifications enabled in the settings? I thought I had the same problem until I checked there and noticed that they were all turned off by default.

The one on the left looks cute. I don't know if kbin needs a mascot, but if it does I vote for that one. The cuter the better.
P.S: If it was up to me all mascots would be frogs, but hey this is a democracy.
Exciting. Really well made trailer too, I've watched it like 3 times since yesterday and I'm loving it. The music is chef's kiss. I find it funny how all those people used to say a new 2D Mario couldn't happen because "everything can be done in Mario Maker" and then Nintendo just blows our minds like this.

Looks like a 1:1 remake with a new coat of paint. Which is good imo. I would be surprised if it turned out to be a buggy mess.
Honestly I kinda like this style better. It looks charming enough and I'm starting to think HD-2D is becoming a bit overused recently.
