Honestly IBM was a respectable name in the 90s and early 2000s but past then just no. So much greed turned them evil and stupid. The further past then they went the worse they got and they're simply a joke. Nobody I know uses them. Not personally or professionally. Not a soul. And yes they still use Linux in both environments.

And that it's their fault for gouging and thinking people won't shop around? They've done it to themselves with greed.

They broke a rule and got a consequence. NTA. Actions have consequences. They were late.

He's also projecting his thoughts about being a bad guardian about himself. Clearly have more sense than him by acting rational and not just driving off with loose kids in the car as he apparently would have. He's projecting again about needing to lighten up as that's what he needs to do if this upset him so badly. Someone keeping your kids safe deserves a thank you and not a chewing out.

This is a parent power trip about MY HOUSE MY RULES DAMMIT and I've been there. You just have to wait it out. It is as stupid as it gets. They try it when you're an adult even. I once asked when it became my house too since I lived there and contributed, and dead silence occured, but there was never another fight about that again when I wanted some privacy or to make a personal decision.

Already two incidents of actually biting. You can't keep that around kids, and maybe not adults. If that was reported here that would be legally a put down dog already if it bit twice. No. I don't care if the kid made the dog bite them. It still happened. You can't have kids around dogs that will bite and they let it happen. There's no way it's safe around them at all. It has to go or you don't go. They picked the dog over your kids. They made the choice. Not you. If they want alive grandchildren they will return the dog. They're lucky the hospital didn't report it biting twice or there's a different policy than where I live because they would have no dog now.

He's been inconsiderate and knows it. He doesn't replace things or even say sorry. The behavior continues. He's the AH here. Even one shred of trying to replace it or say he's sorry for taking all of it even one time would leave me leaning but that doesn't exist. He knows what he did and does not care. You quit enabling him and he got mad. He is acting like a child. He can buy his own sweets if he can't share and I don't know how he's in a relationship if he acts like that. He needs to learn to share or replace what he takes if he must have it all. It's quite simple. That's the adult world. It's how that works when you live with others.

NTA, and Mary can be not invited if this is a problem. I know not everyone can find someone to watch kids all the time but this seems like a regular thing and when they know this is a planned event. This is adult time. It's reasonable to want adult time. Everyone else involved leaves their kid to have adult time because it's not appropriate to bring children to adult time. This was clearly expressed by the lack of activities possible due to a child present here. If they have an issue with their partner watching the child then they need to work that out personally and not place the responsibility of the child on others as a result. Too many people don't take responsibility for their children and this seems to be part of that. They are actively inconveniencing other people with the kid on purpose. Kids have a right to exist but you don't have a right to shove them on people who did not volunteer to take care of them as is what is happening here by bringing a kid to fun night. It is no longer fun night. It's make sure we don't kill the kid night then and you can't have fun because everything upsets the kid that's fun or it's off limits now. Been there done that.

Kid has to eat. She does not have to look. NTA.

Except no it won't because you just ran off half your userbase and made your mods quit. We don't get paid for that and when you piss people off that work for free, you'd better realize that your employees are going to be asked to do their job instead or the site shuts down as chaos ensues.

You ever begin one task only to tangent onto several others at the same time and never finish the first one, coming back around to it very much later if at all because you realize you forgot the one thing you set off to do to begin with, but it wasn't exactly unproductive since you accomplished thirteen other random things that did need doing? I feel awkward about it maybe a little but not necessarily bad. I did get things done, just maybe not in the optimal order and I might've been slightly distracted.

So apparently RARBG is gone. May it RIP. Whats the replacement or new site everyone uses now that it's over?

Is this the Reddit shutdown until the 14th thing?
