The film was so much better than the book. Reading Strieber's prose is like wading through molasses, and the Movie version of Miriam Blaylock was strong and sensual, the book version was almost timid for a vampire.
The love scenes between Miriam and Sarah were horribly depicted, like Strieber had only learned about lesbian sex from watching bad porn...
