did anyone else from the USA grow up being forced to say the pledge to the flag in school? in c/AskKbin@kbin.social

This is still done in public schools in Texas, and they have the kids pledge allegiance to the Texas flag too.

Here's the nice Kbird with changes that people suggested, is OK if it isn't the mascot of Kbin but it will always live in our hearts, the real mascot was the friends we made along the way. in c/kbinMeta@kbin.social
