Help the Nazis? Volkswagen was literally started by the Nazis.

Oxford commas forever. Commas save lives, people!

Taco Bell has “bulked up” their ground beef with soy for years IIRC. Nobody noticed, because their seasoning and actual beef flavor were strong enough to cover.

My problem with Impossible/Beyond is neither is nearly as good as real beef flavor, and I’m saying this as somebody who was vegetarian for over a decade. Boca and Morningstar were my favorites back when I didn’t eat meat, and I still buy the Morningstar breakfast patties because I like them better than greasy meat patties to start my day.

MoviePass and Sinemia got me into like 50 movies. I think my favorite part of that glorious year (less, but let’s round) was when one of the services just stopped working one day and I had prepaid for a year’s service. I reached out to my credit card company and said I got shorted X months of the service. They refunded me the full amount of the prepaid year, so I essentially got months of newly released movies (I’d typically go on Friday afternoons to have fewer people in the theater and the line for concessions) for free.

I should add, the RunPee app saved me so many times I can’t even tell you. Seriously, my favorite app even tangentially related to movies. Get the Infinity Coin if that’s still offered, it’s a great deal for a lifetime of not missing the good parts, especially if you see Christopher Nolan movies regularly.

Space Jesus, not regular earthbound Jesus.

Lemmy is methodone or saboxin compared to the tainted heroin that is Reddit.

I’ll see if I can put in a suggestion over there too. I’m used to r/ApolloApp and r/ApolloAppBeta being the places to interact with the dev, so while I understand using Github for version/issue/documentation tracking and updating, I think using this community for bugs and feature requests is better because it doesn’t send people to another site, and keeping people here then further builds the Voyager community.

I literally tried it by habit, in the Voyager community right after I posted. I’m not old enough to be too set in my ways to change, right?

It’s probably a minor thing, but I dearly miss the Apollo feature to press on the title bar while deep in a comment thread and have it take me to the top. A second press would then return you to where you were.

Can we please have that feature in Voyager?

Do you need color? Do you need scanning beyond using a scanner app from your iPhone (I use Scanner Pro and it’s worth every penny)? You may be okay with a really good B&W laser, ik which case I can more than recommend a Brother. That said, if you need color, I recently bought a Brother color laser printer and no joke, it’s a tank.

It’s not a multifunction printer but when I unboxed it, it weighed noticeably more than the multifunction color laser printer it replaced. Five months in, it’s quick, quiet, and I have no regrets spending the extra money over an Epson inkjet or a lesser laser printer. Oh, and it does duplex, so I use less paper. I legitimately think the case of paper I bought a couple of years ago is the last printer paper I’ll ever buy, and I expect this printer might be the same.

Basically they’ve bought into the idea that the West, neoliberal capitalists to the core, is the root of all evils, so the leaders opposing the West must be good. Unfortunately, the enemy of my enemy isn’t my friend when it comes to geopolitics.
