Just more proof that we live in a simulation and the character creation system has a finite number of facial combinations and ends up repeating often. /s

Except Apple has already been found guilty of throttling old devices to try to force users to upgrade. They've been doing this for a long time, but they've only been ordered to pay a settlement in recent years for doing it with their iPhones.

But honestly the older Macbook Airs don't need to be throttled, they just need the old universal dongles to crap out, IIRC those things were useless without the dongle to connect all your peripherals .

I've got a shit ton of hobbies thanks to my ADHD, but I think my most obscure one is Reef-keeping. Also the most expensive.......

But regardless, given all the media hype around the protests, Reddit DID take a hit to its reputation overall. I'm sure there is a not insignificant number of people still on Reddit who would jump ship were an acceptable alternative available to take its place. I still believe that as Lemmy grows, more content gets created, and the various UIs and Apps used to access increases, people will slowly move over. Spez is looking to monetize the fuck out of Reddit too, so all corporate social media sites are now heading towards some sort of paid model. I don't know about you, but I don't know many people willing to pay for access to a shitty social media site, be it twitter or reddit.

I stopped growing grape tomatoes. They're easy to grow but they're an indeterminate variety, and since they grow so fast they require a lot of pruning. I found a determinate variety of cherry tomato that grows so sturdy that it could potentially stand on its own without any trellis or cage until it starts fruiting, not willing to test it though.

Yeah, I started gardening several years ago and I've now got about 5 different varieties of tomatoes, they all taste unique and they all taste fucking amazing. But I will say, if someone isn't into the idea of gardening, then I would agree its a waste of time.

Man, I remember back when custom stereos were really popular. Almost everyone had some sort of variation of the detachable face stereos in their car.

Also, you forgot to add manually having to lock all the doors.
