I still keep my hundreds of books and thousands of vinyl records even though I consume almost everything electronically. There’s something to be said for not having your entire culture locked up in small grey anonymous boxes.

any particular models you'd recommend? looking on ebay to maybe pick up a cheaper one to try this out, but loads of them seem to be very old. i know nothing whatsoever about kobos so a bit lost.

Yes calibre-web (separate thing from calibre itself.. confusing name) is just like plex for books. It even has a dark mode that looks exactly like plex

calibre-web plays really nice with my kindle paperwhite.

just click the send to e-reader button on any book and it appears on the kindle, ready to go

to be fair to the OP, if you're viewing reddit with the mobile app there is no sidebar unless you happen to click the 3 dots top-right then do some reading, so I can see how that can be missed.

it's a generous reading i know, but so be it

i tried it and it was awful. shame, as i'd love exactly overseerr for music

what's the benefit of selfhosting excalidraw rather than just using https://excalidraw.com?
