r/writingprompts was one of my favorite subreddits as it helped me write. Any good places on the fediverse that are at least similar to it? I don't mind it being on another instance besides kbin.

Very good take and excellent quote.

There's that, but also along with it comes an enormous sense of community. It's a lot easier to find friendship and companionship when you're in a group dedicated to a purpose that meets regularly, and it's a very attractive concept and feeling, even if people don't realize it.

I recently finished playing for the first time! It was genuinely a memorable experience; very few games have made me cry like Undertale did. Incredibly well written characters that almost seem alive, tied with a fantastic story that keeps getting deeper the more you play or look into it. I've spent hours browsing the wiki, reading lore, listening to the OST. This game is just incredible.

I just finished playing the game recently, but haven't finished listening to the entire OST yet, so I'm not familiar with all the names of songs. I really liked the vibes in Ghost Fight though (I think that's the one that plays when you encounter napstablook).

iirc upvoting is supposed to be for good content that fits the magazine and promotes discussion, regardless if you agreed with it or didn't like it. ofc no one ever uses it like that ever, lol

I've only ever played 5e for my ttrpgs, but with WOTC showing its true colors, I'm trying to find a new system to adopt. I've been seeing people say Pathfinder 2e, and while i have a digital copy of the book I've been reading, i didn't realize how large it was until i saw it in a game store; the core rulebook is almost 3 times as long as the 5e PHB!

I guess what I'm looking for is a system that isn't as heavy as Pathfinder 2e but still has depth to it. Do you all have any suggestions?

I do live near a hospital. I'll look into that, thanks!

A lot of customer service. I'm half decent with computers, and I've been doing a lot of invoice billing and collections at my current job.

Make it your own personal insult then. Nothing wrong with having an insult in your arsenal that no one else uses.

I'm currently looking for a new job. Right now I'm making $16 an hour in Florida, USA, and I'd prefer to be making that or better at my next job, but I'm having trouble finding something that pays $16 or better and is also part time, as I'm going to school for the summer and fall semesters. Any recommendations on specific jobs or companies to take a look at?

This is the one for me. I got frustrated at one point not knowing where to go or how to progress and spoiled the game for myself by following a walkthrough and looking at the wiki. I've regretted it ever since.

I like NMS, but I'm not a fan of the gameplay loop. After a while I end up getting bored. For a game focused on exploration it feels like there's not much to explore when almost everything you find is the same.
