Beehaw usually works fine for me but lemmy.ml seems to be problematic.

Does subscribing to a community require approval? in c/lemmyworld@lemmy.world

Seems to be mostly communities from lemmy.ml having this problem.

I've been getting the same thing as well.

Does subscribing to a community require approval? (lemmy.world)
 

I've tried subbing to some other communities however the status stays pending for quite a long time. Could this be because they are on other instances?
