@jake_eric
Any counter doublers or increasers with these two would go infinite if that is what you are looking to do.

For example with [[hardened scales]] on board you would pay one mana and tap the crypticfor two +1/+1 counters. Then you could pull both off for 4 mana and use 2 to untap and one to activate again.

[[Hivestone]] is a sliver specific ability to convert all creatures into slivers. [[Artificial Evolution]] is also a fun option for changing a creature type on a spell or permanent into something else.

I've noticed when viewing threads on Lemmy instances that bot replies are not showing, but the bot replies are visible through Lemmy.

Yeah. I'm on kbin.social, so I am not seeing the bots or notifications of replies at the moment, but it is the same formatting as a lot of the mtg subreddits I would reply on.

That said the card works best if you have sac outlets on board, so you don't exile anything you want to reanimate later.

Edit: Just did not scroll down far enough to see the comment. I'm still figuring things out.

If you have instant speed reanimation I love having a [[false prophet]] in the yard to punish someone swinging my way.

I could eat seven bowls of that!

I think the absolute cheapest would have to be pauper, and depending on what your flg nearby runs you may be able to find games to play with others without too much work.

Oathbreaker is kinda like a mix between commander and standard. The games are quicker, so it can work better as a 1v1, but can also scale to multiplayer games.

One other option might be to pick a time period and run the standard decks of that time. So if you pick something like a decade ago you would be playing with the original Theros and the Return to Ravnica blocks. Some cards from that time might have held their value, but cards like Boros Reconer switched from $30 while in standard to like $0.6 after they rotated out.
