As a fellow GF human because of a colitis condition, the LMNT works well for me. I usually mix it with 2-3x the water recommendation to chill out the taste a bit, but it works wonders. My whole family has a genetic issue that leaves us super vulnerable to dehydration, but I can’t stand chugging so much sugar all the time from other “sports” drinks. LMNT and just DIY electrolyte drinks (water, salt, lemon) have helped a lot.

I appreciate the brand name! It looks like it might ship here (to the US), so I may try it out. It’s a great price!

Thank you! I’ll have to check into this. I would love something that helps my skin and protects it from the sun.

Hey all, I’m hoping you can help!

I live in a very sunny, high altitude place and need to wear sunscreen daily. I have never been able to find something that doesn’t feel greasy after a few minutes to hours of wear. It drives me crazy!

On top of that, I can’t find anything that works well under makeup without making it pill or settle into fine lines (I’m pushing 40).

Any recommendations? For under makeup, reapplication throughout the day, or just regular wear? I have tried so many different options, including the vaunted supergoop, with little luck. My skin is prone to dark spot formation (I am very pale white), break outs, oily spots, and all the fun signs of aging.

Thank you in advance!

I am confident I can solve your pillow problem! I had the same issues, and tons of neck pain for years. Now I use a Mediflow Water Pillow. They’re not cheap - like eighty bucks - but they last forever. One side is memory foam, so you have that comfort and support. The other side is a chamber you fill up with water. Hear me out - you can add as much or as little as you want, so you can make it entirely specific and exact to how you like to sleep. Side, back, both, you can add or take water out until it’s perfect! After a few nights of fussing with the water amount, I’ve not had to touch it for years. Seriously, this is the pillow!

Make sure to follow directions for sealing it, too, and then you won’t hear or have any sloshing sensations when you lay on the foam side. It also doesn’t get super hot at night because the water absorbs a lot of heat. I’ve never had it leak or be problematic at all. My only issue ever is how heavy the pillow is! Water weighs a lot, who would have thought. But that also means the pillow doesn’t wander around the bed at night, in case that was ever an issue.

I hope you try it out! Or find another perfect pillow for your needs. :)

Unacceptable behavior… even for a loss that must sting incredibly. It’s one thing to have a terrible day, it’s another to take it out on the people around you. Especially the ones working so hard to support you!

Brutal to watch. Still loving the McLaren boys and their amazing performances lately!

I guess you’ll have to build a giant metal effigy in the center of your home at this point. Or become a wizard to better channel your new magical energies. It’s really your call now.

I too live in a hilariously dry climate in the winter and become a human lightning rod for several months at a time. Here’s what helped me: a quarter! I carry a quarter in my pocket all winter to touch to metal (I deeply hate getting shocked myself, especially the huge static charges). You’ll need something made of metal that is grounded, though. We have metal shelves or the aforementioned light switch screws. You can also look for screws on your washing machine, doorknob, dishwasher, sink, etc. Anything with a little metal should work. Then - touch the quarter to it, hear (but don’t feel) the zap, and enjoy your dog with no fear. Hope you can find something metallic somewhere in your home!

It sounds pretty compelling; I’ll have to give it a read. If you’re interested in the west & Colorado, Centennial is an awesome (and very long!) read. He just writes epics, no casual stories for him!

I love Michener’s writing style. Centennial was one of my favorites! I have no idea how the man manages to do such intensive research for some of his fictions and still write 40 books! Wild.

I’d be interested in hearing more of your thoughts on Space!
