The majority of ATM's require some form of KYC https://coinatmradar.com/

By "respect your privacy" I mean no personal data is collected. So as long as you are not putting personal details about yourself in the queries and use a VPN you can stay pretty anonymous while using the service.

Not sure about using visa gift cards, but there is Haveno DEX branded as RetoSwap which is a peer to peer exchange with many different payment methods available. https://retoswap.com/

I agree, it will be years before any quantum computer can be put to such a task as breaking cryptography. Code can be changed very quickly and by then encryption will be updated to make this a moot point.

Good to see people are starting to see through the BTC narrative.

Others hold onto the classic story of it being a deflationary currency to save you from the US dollar by making you rich in US dollars.

Originally Bitcoin was supposed to compete with fiat currencies such as the dollar and give people an alternative. Then around 2017 the tech was crippled and the story was hijacked and it became about "storing value".

The real purpose of Bitcoin still lives on in Bitcoin Cash which is actually usable as a currency for day to day transactions. To understand what has happened and how it was done please take a look at:
