I'm curious who leaked it. Just as the DOJ started turning over discovery something leaks after months of secrecy.

well, hearing the actual tape was pretty mind blowing. It is not even a little bit open for interpretation. but I agree with the sentiment of @watson387@sopuli.xyz he mentions above. I simply don't understand how people can see this as politically motivated.

They keep pointing to Hillary but apparently where unable to bring a case, so quit your whining.

Good, there is a lot of discussions on causes of the inflation. This blog post from the IMF of all should put these discussions to rest.

So if the business owner can vote in name of the corporation, does that mean they will also go to prison if the corporation is convicted of a crime? I mean that would only be fair right?

If nothing else, several large American defense contracts will make a tidy profit on this. Even though I think that Nuclear will be required in the mix for the foreseeable future, I still hope for some advancements in energy storage that allow us to go full renewable (Solar, Wind, Hydro, Geo).

The latest arrest come after conservative President Recep Tayyip Erdogan won another presidential term to extend his rule until 2028. During his election campaign, Erdogan said the LGBTQ+ people undermined family values, reiterating his government's disdain for the community. He and his representatives have attempted for years to block the annual Istanbul Pride Parade.

So sad to see this. Especially painful to see Turkish citizens living abroad voting so much for the AK Party that denies Turkish citizens in Turkey rights that they enjoy while living abroad.

I have seen them around the Fediverse and on Reddit and if implemented properly it helps greatly.

I don't know about others but I appreciate a good TL/DR bot to help determine if I want to read the full article posted.

is this something that has been considered for communities like news? I know I would like to see this.

A working example seems to be: https://lemmy.world/u/tldrbot that used this under the hood: https://github.com/SleeplessOne1917/lemmy-bot

Go ahead, I would suggest adding your personal touch. Opinions, anecdotes, trivia etc. Someone with a vast collection as your probably has interesting things to add.

Tax them as an individual.

This stuff would be considered too much in a comedy skit.

Thomas Webb Jurgens, a legal observer from the Southern Poverty Law Center, is facing charges of domestic terrorism after being swept up in arrests made back in March at the forest-turned-construction-site outside Atlanta where activists have been protesting a multimillion-dollar police training center for more than a year.

But when Dekalb County’s district attorney called to drop charges against Jurgens, who was wearing bright green clothing to identify him as a legal observer at the time of his arrest, Carr, a conservative Republican with a Federalist Society pedigree, overruled the objections.

Wow.
