The main difference looks to be the role of the midfielders. Under Conte they were essentially a guard for the defensive line but the players we had weren't suited to that role and the defense was just exposed even a low block.

Under Ange the Midfielders support the attack and while our front 3 weren't that effective against Brentford they weren't isolated like before. Bissouma is such a key player and I can't wait to see how Bentancur plays in this system

It's way too early to judge him. In my opinion Raya is not good enough and won't be getting any better, so I'm happy we're taking more of a risk here. Ange really rates him so I'm hopeful

Honestly I don't know what Bayern are trying to achieve here. I think they're just annoyed that they can't financially compete for Kane's asking price and are trying to bully us like they do to the other bundesliga clubs. They're coming off as incredibly entitled.
