Kind of sucks when a franchise that wasn't previously f2p goes f2p and then introduces all these bullshit mechanics and are covered by the fact that it's f2p now.

Paying premium fees for a few days of early access which actually just means delaying the game for a few days for those who refuse to succumb to FOMO. They did this with D4 and it's honestly baffling how little it was pushed back on.
Halo too. Cool that it's free to play now but it was a lot better when you paid a full price and got a full game. Now everything is sold a la carte for way more than a full price game and it ruins the fun of unlocking things.
