I enjoyed To Sir, With Love and The Crysalids.

I enjoyed that one too, I never forgot Sophie was it and her extra toes.

Characters that are written consistently, so that if they do something that is 'out there' later down in the story, the writing would have shown before hand how they got to that place.

The Spooksville series, I couldn't wait for the holidays to come around so I could buy myself a new installment.

Sally, one of the characters from it, introduced me to sarcasm, I used to wonder why she spoke like that, since no one I knew used sarcasm at all.
