I think a good solution for something like this would be a closed loop system that pumps heat underground. Like passive cooling but on a grander scale and probably much deeper underground. So maybe more like reverse geothermal?

That’s not what I said though? I have the option to opt in other people have the option to opt out and we can all be here. That is what I was trying to say to someone who, in my opinion, seemed to be saying “no, there is a different place for that, go there for that”. Given bug fixes, proper moderation, and users marking content correctly there’s no reason we cannot coexist here. The person I was responding to was saying I should start a lemmy account on a nsfw instance for nsfw content which seems much more akin to what you appear to be implying that I am saying. I want the bug to eventually be fixed and am in disagreement with people who appear to be saying “good, I like it that way, no fix needed”, people who, in fact, are disagreeing with you specifically given you are the OP

To my knowledge, currently kbin.social federates with all instances. Therefore on this instance kbin.social, where I have opted in to nsfw, I would like nsfw to organically show up on my All. If it isn’t showing up because no one is making any then that is fine, if it is being made and isn’t showing up despite me having opted in that is not fine and I will patiently wait until it is fixed. I think the exact opposite; all instances are interconnected, so I don’t need multiple accounts, I can subscribe from here and have it served here. Since I have opted in, I would like to have nsfw come up organically on my All and I don’t think it’s unreasonable as this instance, @kbin.social, allows nsfw. Maybe I’m the weird one, but I don’t want a normal account and some.. turboporn account, I just want occasional tits, ass, and dick to show up in my normal feed

(Assuming this bug is fixed and people are properly marking nsfw) Then they should opt out of showing nsfw so it doesn’t show up for them instead of preventing me from getting it served to me here where I have opted in. I would like the ability to organically find communities as they show up on All instead of specifically searching

If your solution is to go to a different website instead of subscribing from here and having it served to me here, then what is the point of federation? (Just to clarify I totally understand why people wouldn’t want to be served nsfw when they didn’t opt into it and I don’t mind a bit of an overcorrection for the meantime. I know kbin blew up fast and this can be an expected growing pain that will eventually be worked out)

I also use KeePassium XC on my desktop and go r mobile I use an app called KeePassium. I just have them pointed at the file in my Google Drive.
