As spring gets underway, it's the ideal time to start growing veg at home. To make the most difference for the climate, some crops are especially worth growing.

What I'm getting from this is that the real cause for higher emissions is the fertilizer. Making your own and doing no dig effectively cancels that problem?

whats even the point of at home gardening if your using pesticides and bought fertilizer? Boy I just hate headlines nowadays. Why did they put tomato specifically in it when that is called out as one of the better options? Headline makes it sound like think twice about growing tomatoes. It should have just said home gardens.
