I would probably recommend a Series S if you're looking for something cheaper, plus is it's a current system so you'll still get access to any new games that come out, while with the One X you'll be limited to older games.

Thanks. That totally makes sense. Now I need to find a good deal on one.
Series S is the best choice. Of course the initial investment will be higher but you will have a new generation console that will last for the next 10 years. It's worth it.
Thanks.
Get the Xbox Series S
Is this like the older Xbox X or the series X? If it's the older one, you'll have a large back catalog of games to plant but it's worth noting that a lot of games going forward are only being made for the Series a and Series x xboxes. How much are you thinking of paying for it if you don't mind me asking?
You can still play a lot of new games on an Xbox One X with XCloud.
Yes, all cloud games work on Xbox one (and many other devices..) making it a great choice still. I have an old Xbox one with a busted power supply, and I don’t know how to get rid of it lol.
The S is great, but I kinda wish I had the X just so that rocket league would look better. The S runs it at 120FPS, but like 700p. Yikes.
If this is a stopgap solution to your HDMI over Ethernet plan, I would say no. I think it would be smarter to run the display to your TV in another room as long as you don't have connection issues with the controller.
Yeah, that's the ultimate plan. I just keep making excuses for not wanting to crawl under the house.
