Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

For those keeping score at home, that's 0.36 Scaramuccis she lasted there.

[–] ptz@dubvee.org 33 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago) (1 children)

That's 0.09 Truss for our metric friends across the pond.

[–] Passerby6497@lemmy.world 7 points 8 months ago (1 children)

But what is it in lettuce??

[–] ptz@dubvee.org 3 points 8 months ago (1 children)

How much longer did the head of lettuce last after Truss? Unfortunately, I'm missing that data and can't create the conversion formula without it.

[–] Passerby6497@lemmy.world 3 points 8 months ago

I'm struggling to find that data point, unfortunately. I was really excited to finally get that conversion factor, but alas, it's not to be.

[–] NegativeInf@lemmy.world 26 points 8 months ago (2 children)

I'ma need a fahrenheit to Celsius kind of equation please.

[–] ptz@dubvee.org 31 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

Imperial to Metric: 1 Mooch = 11 days * 4 = 44 days = 1 Truss

Metric to Imperial: 1 Truss = 44 days * 0.25 = 11 days = 1 Mooch

[–] MermaidsGarden@lemmy.world 28 points 8 months ago

1 Mooch = 11 Days

[–] jballs@sh.itjust.works 14 points 8 months ago (2 children)

It's funny that the Mooch is such an anti-Trumper now.

[–] admiralteal@kbin.social 33 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago) (1 children)

Everyone who deals with Trump has two choices.

They either can become an anti-Trumper or fully insert their tongues into his asshole. If you don't do the latter, Trump will identify you as the former -- and send his brown shirts after you.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 25 points 8 months ago

Just a quick reminder: everyone who joins trump gets shit on. No exceptions

[–] TimLovesTech@badatbeing.social 11 points 8 months ago

He hardly knew the guy! /s

[–] gravitas_deficiency@sh.itjust.works 9 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

With a delightfully… victorian conversion rate of McDaniel:Scaramucci set at 9:25

[–] vegeta@lemmy.world 54 points 8 months ago (1 children)

4 days to stop the spread of the 'Ronavirus

[–] TheJims@lemmy.world 13 points 8 months ago

I always found it amusing the name of the RNC chair was Rona..

[–] elliot_crane@lemmy.world 54 points 8 months ago (4 children)

LOL byeeeeee 👋

But also do not support NBC. Show them that hiring these kinds of contributors will not be tolerated in the first place.

[–] DogPeePoo@lemm.ee 28 points 8 months ago

“Oh shoot, we want to emulate Nazis but we were going to keep it light”

Mother Fuckers want the Trump ratings and the crooked tax cuts. NBC has been trying to normalize Trump for years and years.

[–] ramenshaman@lemmy.world 8 points 8 months ago (1 children)

What's the difference between NBC and MSNBC? The news from MSNBC generally seems pretty reliable to me.

[–] elliot_crane@lemmy.world 27 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago) (1 children)

It’s complicated because of megacorp structuring. In short they’re different divisions of the same mega network which is ultimately owned by Comcast: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBCUniversal

It’s also worth noting that my comment above isn’t really about the quality or journalistic integrity of reporting, but the leadership that decided to hire an individual like Ronna McDaniel in the first place.

[–] toiletobserver@lemm.ee 21 points 8 months ago (2 children)
[–] Wiz@midwest.social 15 points 8 months ago (1 children)

My wife and I had a Comcast monopoly in our area for many years. We can't say the word Comcast without following it with phrase "Rat Bastards". Their service was deplorable, expensive, and obligatory if you wanted Internet service in my area. The rat bastards abused that monopoly.

Then a municipal co-op built fiber near my house, and I've never been happier switching service in my life. Faster connection, less money, friendly local service.

Then a municipal co-op built fiber near my house

What's the 20 letter word in german for "I am happy for you as much as I hate you"?

[–] harrys_balzac@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Wütendglücklichkeitsgehabtschaft

[–] stringere@leminal.space 2 points 8 months ago
[–] elliot_crane@lemmy.world 5 points 8 months ago

Yeah, I was gonna leave something spicy like “Comcast, the shittiest company in the Milky Way” in my response, but I didn’t want to detract too much from answering the question asked.

[–] bradinutah@thelemmy.club 7 points 8 months ago

They need a new Chairman. The weak sorry from Conde in a memo is not sufficient. For the head of a proper news organization, you need someone who has more respect for freedom of the press and doesn't sacrifice principles for greed and grift.

[–] bilb@lem.monster 2 points 8 months ago

There is already nobody watching. That's probably why they did this to begin with.

[–] vegeta@lemmy.world 29 points 8 months ago (2 children)
[–] goldteeth@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 8 months ago

does that mean that 36x10^25^ Scaramuccis is equal to one ronnaRonna?

[–] eran_morad@lemmy.world 25 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Fuck the republican traitor filth.

[–] theotherone@kbin.social 3 points 8 months ago

That’s the spirit!

[–] Cruxifux@lemmy.world 25 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Her name is almost Ronald McDonald

[–] hansl@lemmy.world 5 points 8 months ago (1 children)

That has to be intentional. She’s not old enough, R McD was around when she was born.

[–] JoBo 4 points 8 months ago

She was born Ronna Romney. Whether or not she chose to marry a McD for the lols, I couldn't say.

[–] Diplomjodler@feddit.de 17 points 8 months ago (3 children)

So why the fuck did they hire that piece of shit in the first place. Shame on them!

[–] Passerby6497@lemmy.world 13 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago)

Because her name is actually Rona Romney McDaniel.

Nepotism will get you anywhere. It just won't necessarily keep you there....

[–] Nudding@lemmy.world 1 points 8 months ago
[–] Crikeste@lemm.ee 1 points 8 months ago

Because NBC is a piece of shit.

[–] BlackPenguins@lemmy.world 13 points 8 months ago (2 children)

FOX News will be foaming at the mouth about free speech now. It's a catch 22 for NBC

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 11 points 8 months ago

If only they could have avoided this pathetic situation somehow.

[–] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 10 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Wow, sudden outbreaks of common sense are rare these days.

So did she get a golden parachute even though she wasn't past a standard probationary period?

[–] numbermess@fedia.io 10 points 8 months ago
[–] Crikeste@lemm.ee 2 points 8 months ago

And NBC is still trash for even considering her or anyone like her. Was garbage, is garbage, and will always be garbage.
