Same. This is actually more similar to RIF than I was expecting and I'm having fun with a smaller community.
Jerboa
Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.
Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

Jerboa reminds me of RIF, which I've used for many years. But I think important software should be open source, so this is a good improvement. Even if RIF were to switch to Lemmy, I'd stay with Jerboa for this reason.
Good idea. Just did that with Boost. :)
Same. RIP boost, you will be missed. Hope the reddit app developers switch to the Fediverse, that would be sick. o7
All good things must come to an end, even if it is sad
Thank you for mentioning Jerboa; installed and quite happy with it so far.
I've been using Jerboa (and Lemmy) for a couple of days. And I like where this is going. Replaced Boost on my screen.
I just did the same with Boost. I've been part time both here and on Reddit, nowi it's time to start really leaning into Lemmy.
I'll leave mine there for the time being, to remind me of the good times and why I shouldn't go back to reddit.
Good idea. Just did that with Boost.
It's so fast. I just love the responsiveness of it.
rif my most used app by far ever. Jerboa feels very similar so the transition has been easy
