What price range are you looking at? One person's mid-tier is not another's.

What do you consider to be "mid tier"? I have some $70 Raycon earbuds that sound awesome. I've had them for a few years, so the newer ones are probably even better

Jabra Elite 75t. Perfect earbud IMO. They're the ONLY ones that fit snug in my ear for running. Great bass, good battery life. They're also low profile enough to fit comfortably under a motorcycle helmet.

Edit: After seeing other responses, not sure what mid-tier means, but these are well below the $700-$1000+ premium earbuds. About $180 new and around $60-$100 refurbished.

You can get Sennheiser PXC 550 on the cheap nowadays. Great sound quality for the money, noise cancelling second only to bose, above average build quality and actually comfortable. I've taken mine all over the world and they still look new.

I like my Sony WH-XB910s. I think I got them on sale though; they were only like $120 when I picked them up but I think they're normally about $200.
