Like I just bought myself a new bed frame and omg I’m just dying to have my partner over to see it once it’s set up (my .. 37 yo self - fuck, that’s right - feels so adult!).. like ooh idk surprise I guess? The birthday fairy left it for me? Don’t judge my spending. It’s precious. My precious.
I do this with my dog, haha. Anytime I come home with anything (groceries, tools, etc) I have to take each item out and at least show it to my dog (usually let him sniff it if it's not food).
Like, "Oooooh, look, mom got a hammer! OOOOOH, a hammer!" and she's just sniffing and wagging away, hahaha
You gotta enjoy the little things mate. Your dog is thrilled to be included in your daily life, guaranteed.

Ha sorry not you judging; partner. Who won’t either. I just have poverty spend-confidence issues. 😅 justify every large purchase. This one is “because I want it” which is difficult justification.
