London, sorry :)

Nothing to be sorry about! London is an amazing place (while also insanely expensive) . I know londoners like to complain about the tube, but it's so convenient!
Hampshire...the south one, though grew up in the north one, not very imaginative I know
+1 for Hampshire here.
Born in Hythe, live and work in Eastleigh. I've almost escaped the SO postcode...
Keeping it consistent! Is the new forest in hampshire?
Yep!
Love the new forest, such an amazing place!
Leicestershire! Home of a pretty good rugby team. Yeah. Let's focus on the rugby team..
Never been to Leicestershire, at least you have the rugby team and it looks like a pretty place from a quick Google!
Snap. Fellow Lancastrian here.
Nice, I didn't think there would be many of us on here!
I've also created a lancashire magazine on kbin, would be great if you could join: https://kbin.social/m/lancashire
Kbin links always open outside of my instance so I can't sub to them
Ah I'm not sure how to get around that, still haven't figured all this out. Maybe search for Lancashire on your instance and the group here will show up?
Still haven't been able to crack it annoyingly. May be an idea if I make a lemmy Lancashire community so everyone can play
Go for it! I still haven't figured out how to link across instances, although when I search for things in the magazine search on kbin lemmy instances show up as well so I assumed it would be similar?
I see posts from kbin magazines on my feed if I sort all communities by new. But the search function is diabolically bad.
What a shame, the search isn't great here but still works (ish) . I end up posting a lot on lemmy posts and groups
Does this link work, only if you are on lemmy world though:
https://lemmy.world/c/lancashire@kbin.social
Gives me the lovely message 'couldn't find community' - I'm on Feddit UK
Hmm maybe try: https://feddit.uk/c/lancashire@kbin.social
You can really tell I'm not sure what I'm doing!
Still no but thanks for trying. We're all getting used to this newfangled stuff. And the tech will improve with time.
Avon/B&NES/Somerset, whatever the right answer is :D I suppose it's either Somerset, even though some places even still have it has Avon even though the county hasn't been around since 1996.
I never knew that! Somerset looks like a beautiful county
Scotland! Perthshire to be precise but from Fife originally.
I love coming down south to England. It winds up my Geordie pals when I tell them that they are all southerners to me.
Lovely, never been to Perthshire but lived in Dundee for a little while. Actually loved it there.
The whole north thing is funny, as we're classed as north in Lancashire but there is a lot more north above us!
