MODERATORS
Yeah that's the western propaganda narrative on the issue. As usual it is pretty much completely backwards to the actual reality around this topic. It completely omits the principal troublemaker and pretends like the main players are China and "the Uyghurs" as if the latter were already separate from the former. It is infused all throughout with anti-communism (denigration of the concept of national autonomy under communism) and liberal assumptions (liberalization, privatization good, state controlled economy bad).
If someone wants they can do a more detailed point by point takedown of this, but i'm not going to bother further with this garbage.
