I'm expecting "no evidence". I believe I've said this in another comment, but it seems like NASA is lining itself with The Pentagon and AARO in regards to their messaging.
Nice, it'll be settled once and for all then. Just like last time.
I suspect they'll tell us one of these three:
- There's no sign of intelligent life outside of earth but we've found traces that could indicate previous microbial life in space. Just like last time we told you.
- We've found aliens since the last time we talked publicly about this but forgot to tell you.
- We knew and lied all along.
I think I know what they'll say.

I'll go ahead and rule this one out. Even if this were a true statement, I don't recall a government agency ever admitting fault.
