Just for stocktake
If you have to close your shop for stocktake then you probably need better staff or processes ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Quick, go buy a mattress and a rug. They too might be on sale.
My local one has been announcing its closure for years.
I knew of a shop named “Closing Down Sale” which had its name advertised on its windows for years.
It's there standard FOMO tactic. If you don't NEED it, don't buy it.
but they are closing down - you might never be able to get another saucepan ever again
I guess we'll be eating 2 minute noodles for the rest of time!
