I know nothing about cars. I bought a Toyota because they said it’s reliable. It’s the cheapest and smallest car I could find, and it’s as fast as a Tesla on the highway.

Whichever one makes an affordable electric truck with good range first.

Out of the three? Ford. They make the best work truck at least.

Their interiors are well thought out. Lots of storage space. They handle well. Performance is solid. I've driven both their diesel and gas trucks. I prefer the diesel, since it had a good turbo in it and pulled heavy shit like a dream. Mirrors are big too.

Don't like dodge interiors, but their engines are better performing. Handling is shit in that they 2009/2010 models had the death wobble, which didn't get fixed until 2015ish. Won't drive them because of that oversight.

Indifferent to chev but their duramaxs seem solid

I used to fe l like Ford was good. Then I got one of their 5.4 liter motors. Oof.

5.4s are shit. Do they still use them? We had them on our 2011ish trucks. They were ok for what we needed, but I wouldn't want one for a personal vehicle.

I don't know, but I've got one sort of hung around my neck. Both the 2 valve and 3 valve motors seem to be garbage. From my 10 seconds of internet research, it looks like most of the motors are now the turbo 6s as they have more HP and TQ but there are continued issues with them. Really makes me wish I had something GM with a fairly bulletproof LS based motor :(

Chevy makes the best all around trucks. The recently redesigned Silverados have the updated interiors that put them ahead of the other two. On the top end, Dodge has some cowboy themed interior that's pretty crazy, but it's almost too nice. I've never liked the F150 interiors - they photograph well, but in person they are pretty terrible. In terms of powertrain, you'll never go wrong with a Chrvy V8 and GM's 2.7L 4 is a beast. That's also the power plant in the Colorado which is one of the reasons for midsized trucks I'd go with a Chevy again.

Have no loyalty to any car brand, but I have a soft spot for the Ford Ranger specifically
