Any privacy concerns with using the futo-whisper open source voice library?

I was able to add their apk repo to Droidify, but am hesitant to install Futo Voice Input. Although it looks like it integrates nicely with OpenBoard.

The other option is to install Sayboard, which works with the native Graphene keyboard. Although OpenBoard with Futo Voice looks like a more streamlined experience, IMHO.

Any thoughts on privacy here?

Futo was created for privacy. Its all local. That cranky YouTube guy from NY with the cat has a video on it. Ross something?

Here is an alternative Piped link(s):

Is it this one?

Piped is a privacy-respecting open-source alternative frontend to YouTube.

I'm open-source; check me out at GitHub.

I use futo voice input and can recommend. It runs perfectly without any internet access and am using it with OpenBoard as well.

That's pretty cool. Works with FlorisBoard as well, and without internet. If you intend to use other languages than english you need to let it download some more stuff first.

Is this a voice to text keyboard thing?

Yeah, I just tried it out and it works really well. Even works with AnySoftKeyboard.
