the only thing that can kill Spotify is Spotify. They have a good platform, the best integration with other services/devices, and as long as they don't enshitify there's not much more another service can offer

Yup. I loved Google music before it was destroyed, Spotify is in the top 2 options by far. Unless they self destruct, going to be hard to kill.

And who the fuck would use a Chinese app just for music? It would be banned on my network if the gf didn't veto that one. TikTok is digital cancer.

Yeah, unless the hypothetical "Spotify killer" can import and rebuild all the playlists I already have saved over ten years of having used Spotify, then it's not a Spotify killer
