https://twitter.com/xGPhilosophy/status/1744064135304818738 Arsenal have scored 1 goal from 6.47(xG) over the last three games.

Can't imagine why we're losing games.

Sometimes they don't go in. It is mad, but the team needs to shake it off and move on. We have 13 days to train, and work on all of this. The good news, other than Fulham, we've been decent.

i know it's not quite over, it basically is

See it's just that simple.

Get goalscorer in, he starts scoring goals. Doesn't need an UEFA pro license for that.

Sorry my break brain multiple layers of irony idk who I'm mocking rn

nah but this is arsenal, you have to remember that if we get a goalscorer in he'll either stop scoring or become a vegetable

annoyingly, I genuinely think even ignoring the stats we were quite good. But if you can't put the ball in the net none of it matters.

I agree with this. A lot of good movement, a good control of the game. We lacked composure in a couple of moments. It was a good performance, with not very good finishing.

Agreed, we honestly played well except for the finishing. That helps me not feel like total shit today. I was hoping we get a clinical striker at least on loan but Arteta said it’s not realistic.

[–] Astrealix@lemmy.world 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

what clinical striker would be available on loan lmfao??

[–] throbbingpens@lemmy.world 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Someone more clinical than Jesus and Nketiah? That’s not a reach.

[–] Astrealix@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I think there's very few players that are more clinical than Jesus while still being able to perform at similar levels in everything else, and I don't think any would be available on loan in January :p

yes. The problem is the second half of that statement lol.

Doesn’t have to do everything else that Jesus does at the same level. We created chances okay today without Jesus in the squad.
