I'm running /e/ OS on Xiaomi Mi5 (gemini), works great. Phone is from 2016. One day ago I had updated from 1.8 to 1.16 with success. Really great project !

I have it on my teracube 2e. Although, I don't use it much anymore since i keep getting into a update failure loop over and over. Even when i try to do it manually sadly.

I agree. On each update, i hope it fixes whatever doesn't work that prevents the update to work.

Maybe you could reinstall and see if that helps?

Do you know of a guide that could help with that? I've tried the easy-installer and it ends up with the same result because what happens is, while i am successful in installing it, updates get triggered and get back into that update loop. Because i think the installer only uses the first version -- Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask. Normally i would use reddit for this kind of thing. :)

This isn't the wrong place at all! Installation Guide for Teracube 2e "2e"; Installation Guide for Teracube 2e "emerald" .

These are the guides for CLI installation which is more advanced than the Easy Installer.

If that fails, too, you can go to the official community page and ask there or go to the official Telegram group to chat with expert users and devs.

Good luck!

I've used /e/ on my fp3 for over three years and honestly it only gets better. Thanks for creating this community here on lemmy!

It really is great and there's no need to thank me. Someone would've eventually made a community anyway
