On Reddit we have r/dvdcollection, r/boutiquebluray, r/4kbluray, r/steelbook, r/vhs, etc but let's start simply with a community to cover all the forms of home video collecting.

So, do you feel nostalgic for a format? Are you looking forward to a release? Heard any exciting news? Want to show us your shelves? Then post away.

Sad that you can't actually watch it at home the way they intended. No way to get the high frame rate segments, or the 3D.

Yeah, the 3D market is basically dead and even 4K discs didn't have specifications for HFR. Saying that, I've watched HFR clips of Gemini Man on my television and I'm not a fan.

I did see that Gemini Man clip and also want keen. Goes from a clip of some soldiers fighting to what appears to be a few guys on a paintball weekend.

I didn't catch Avatar at the cinema, but I heard it uses it sparingly, like just for fast action scenes.

Only way I can think you'd be able to watch from home is a virtual cinema in a VR headset.

I think it just has a home video feel. I can't think of how to describe it. It's like you're watching behind the scenes, it doesn't feel cinematic at all. It's weird.
