Khan got couped by the US for leaning toward non-alignment and trade with Russia. Will the US sponsored coup regime get couped themselves for a weapons deal with China?

Following the recent war games where, according to Pakistan, the Chinese fighters comprehensively outperformed the F-16, looks like Pakistan is investing more heavily in Chinese aircraft.

Nice they finally managed to outperform and old as fuck American jet fighter

No joke, 50th anniversary of the first F16 flight is coming up very soon.

Granted the guts of that plane have been upgraded over and over, but still.

leave it up to lemmitors to think all F-16 planes were all made in 1978 and haven't gone through decades of upgrades

china will probably not have to worry about outperforming the F-35 considering how much of an unreliable piece of shit it is

they really out performance it, or it's just to justify the the jet bought

It's a significantly newer plane it seems, and it is meant to be on par with the F35

Good for them and good on China for democratizing access to stealth jet technology

Curious to see whether they are able to produce engines in sufficiently large volumes, and, which engines these exports will receive.

Allegedly, the WS-19 entered production earlier this year, but presumably, those are all destined for domestic J-31/35 production, and exports will continue to use the WS-13E.

[–] nekandro@lemmy.ml 6 points 11 months ago

Don't think engine is bottleneck on J-31 production tbh

Yeah I wanna see how the broke army can afford stealth fighters when they literally ditched China's CPEC and shot their previous government just to get the chance to beg the USA for IMF loans.

PAF got J10Cs because the USA is never gonna sell Pakistan F-16s ever again. China doesn't even give them the domestic versions of their Fox 3s, they won't just hand out stealth fighters for free after getting blown off by a COAS who only answers to american dollars.
