No joke. I still have mine from back in the day and I took notes on this shit and still have no idea what it’s about.
I mean the hallway getting longer between the parents and their kid was kind of a hint.

This book was insaneo. I read the footnotes simultaneously with the story and it felt like a choose your own adventure book.
Good book but it needed another 4 layers of meta. Shame the authors current series won’t be finished.
