Yep! I usually scoop out an almond-sized dollop and spread into the bowl. Speaking of almond, the soap smells like cherry kernels. When it comes to the volume of lather, I find it is better to have too much soap than too little. I usually end up with having to flush a lot of lather down the drain, but since I only shave 1-2 times a week, it's not that bad.

Yeah, it is nice. In fact the Henson is how I got into wet shaving: I saw an ad on Facebook (back when I still used it). So I started googling and found an online shaving store. Got a very basic shaving set. Fast forward one year and I found they had the Henson available in another online store where I lived, and it was on sale. Bought it and fell in love. Next week I'll be using the R89 for a change and then I'll make a back to basics shave with the stuff that was in the beginner set.
