Earth wood and metal each have a first level feat that gives you medium armor, and weapon infusion is a level 1 feat that let's you deal bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage and choose one of a few available keywords depending on whether you make a ranged or melee weapon.
No specific archetype or anything, unfortunately.
I believe there's a bestiary in it - what's the most interesting monster in it in your opinion?
I haven't been through every plane yet, but I'm digging how the Plane of metal enjoys Screamo.
One of the new Elementals, a Melomach, has the ability to emit a 120-ft cone of sonic damage and if you critically fail your save you're just deaf forever
At my FLGS we had a player run a Kineticist on day one and he kept creating these 5' metal cubes as 1 action. Over and over, filling up the combat area. What is that?
I don't see any option that would allow that for one action, maybe base kinesis with expand kinesis, using the proliferate option, but base kinesis is two actions, and the metal wall impulse is 3 actions, so I'm really not sure what it could be that let's him spam metal cubes for 1 action.
