Someone wanted to make a game but had no imagination and didn't want to pay for rights to an established IP, so they went with king Arthur. Surprised they didn't go Robin Hood.

I've always seen Robin Hood/king Arthur movies as money laundering or just lazy money making, not surprised it's crossed over into gaming.

Nobody cares about king Arthur's story told in a new way for the 50th time.
