What games are you playing? What's your style?

OD&D - mostly sticking to the 3 LBBs from 1974, with a dash of the supplements here and there. PCs are exploring my Dungeon23 creation.

AD&D/1e - continuation of my 14 year campaign. 3 separate groups in the same world, 1 is PbP, 2 are online (though one will go back to face-to-face in late summer)

Classic Traveller - just the 3 LBBs from 1977, in a mashup of Battlestar Galactica 1978 and 2003 TV series. No 3rd Imperium elements.

My style? I like to focus on roleplay and put the mechanics behind the screen as much as possible, though AD&D tends to not support that. But I try. OD&D/CT77 definitely promote that style of play.

We’ve been playing pathfinder, it’s been pretty good and feels a lot like dnd

Star Trek Adventures from Modiphius and Dungeon Crawl Classics in the Lankhmar settings, though both groups haven't met up in a couple weeks because June is usually when a lot of my friends travel, which is fine.

I've just started playing in a 2e campaign over Discord. First time playing (as in being a player rather than DM) an old AD&D, so that will be an interesting experience.

I've been running playtest sessions of my homebrew system and touching up the language there, so that's honestly taking up way more brain space right now.

Primarily I've been playing Pendragon and TOR2e, though I've been playing some Wolves of God as well

People are clearly confused about this magazine's topic lol
I'm playing a 5e campaign, homebrewed locations.
Also playing Core Keeper with a friend.

Blades in the Dark. First campaign with it and it's on session 20 now.

Running Mothership next month. Will probably use the same homebrew setting for a future Stars Without Number: Revised campaign.

Still running a D&D 5e campaign that started the weeks leading up to the first published book. Trying to move it to the end so I can leave 5e behind.

It's been Mothership for me, though scheduling gets really challenging in summer with my group.

Currently looking for one shots or bi-weekly/monthly options on startplaying.games that I can play in to check off some of my bucket list systems.

  • SWN/WWN
  • Troika
  • Symbaroum
  • Scum & Villany

So, #LFG, I guess. 😀

Troika is super fun, hope you get a chance to play.

5E at the moment but I'll be joining a PF2E campaign soon. I'm a roleplayer, I much prefer the stories and roleplaying over combat

Not to dissuade you from playing PF2e if that's really what you want but neither 5e or PF2e have good mechanical support for roleplaying/telling stories, so if your reason for switching systems is for that, you will likely be disappointed.

I'm not actually switching, joining a new group. But for me roleplaying doesn't need in game mechanics roleplaying can just happen in any game. Of course I don't think I've played a system that has mechanics for roleplaying so I can't really speak to that. Though if you have a suggestion I'm always interested in looking at different systems!
