We see happening for players and managers before games, right after games moments after they enter the tunnel and after games in a formal setting... Should we do this for refs too?

No, rather have open comms with the refs on the pitch, something like how the NFL/NHL does it. Especially for VAR ones.

They had the system 20 years ago. Unfortunately football supporters don't respect the referee enough for this to happen.

The common rebuttal has always been “would you want to hear from the ref if we’ve had a boring game?” Which basically goes back to them really only being asked to justify bad calls.

Instead they should just live broadcast all VAR communications on TV (I don’t think it’d be practical to do in the stadium), that way every decision has context and nothing can be hidden.

I think it’s fair to say we deserve accountability, not justification.

I really don’t see the point in something like this. On top of that outside of the one or two bad calls per game, what questions would/could be asked? Something like this wouldn’t even last 3 minutes

Nah will just cause more drama and even more of a focus on decisions.

It's only going to ignite more controversy. Don't see it happening.
