Hi everyone, trying to find the specific name for this type of photography but can't get an exact result, the type of holding a photo up to a place to capture a then and now. Closest thing I found was "Re Photography" but it's not exactly what I'm after as its a digital then and now not one with a photo. Thanks !

Some things don't have a specific name. It's just something that people do.

I googled past and present photography. I am not sure if this is the exact name of this type photography. But the results show what you're looking for. I'm pretty sure it could go by many names. Maybe then and now photography also.

You probably can get faster answers for questions like this just trying different search criteria on google.
