Portal. If you know what you’re doing, you can be in and out in like an hour, maybe two.
For me, subnautica. I grew up in the ocean, so getting to go back to that clears my mind and lets me relax a bit. I know where all the scary monsters are now anyways so it's easy to avoid them.

One of the things I enjoy most about my day is a nice afternoon farming in Blocklords, it equals peace for me.
Spider-Man is a big one.
Anyone that plays MMOs probably finds themselves going back to them as comfort games when there is downtime between anything else they might play.

DayZ. Actually go for a walk. And maybe a murder or two. And of course the obligatory feeding another player human meat. And then maybe landmine a well or something.
Stardew Valley and Minecraft on a switch
Loading up destiny 2 and looking for ways out of bounds, or exploring the out of bounds I already know. It's so peaceful and rewarding

Nothing quite relaxing like turning my brain off and just shooting till I'm content .

Gathering resources in Minecraft.
Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2, just the sound track, and everything takes me back to simpler times.

Warframe. Nothing calms the nerves like light genocide.

Zelda, I go back and do the side quests and things I didn’t do while looking for new armor and all the fun stuff I may have missed
Helldivers
As in a short break from gaming. I usually return to Bloodborne or Skyrim. But I am partial to the odd racing game for a cleanse. Currently that game is Grid: Legends.

Going for a ride out in realistically tuned cars in gta v
Halo 3s begins mission or Halo infinites free roam the grunts remind me of the kids I walk past on the playground
Usually a game on Madden.
Fire up Civ, massive map, Domination Victory only, then see how many civs I can annihilate before the Renaissance

Walking/driving around Night City in Cyberpunk. Get the right song while in Silverhand's 930 Turbo and just cruise around
Test flying a jet in War Thunder and just peacefully flying around in the sky.
Seeing if I can get every NPC on a level into a body bag without getting into a shootout. (HITMAN)
