• was actually the title of the game, the quote has always stuck with me as I think at the time it freaked me out a bit, as did the game .. nearly all of humanity is dead in a dystopian future but the overlord dude has kept just 5 souls alive to torture continually.

I’m reasonably sure you couldn’t ‘win’ the game, or ‘escape’ but I did get my character to smile once, (by killing their dog) which seemed to piss off the bad guys quite a bit.

The game Control has a collectible series of creepy kids videos which are in game designed to teach young kids about living as a government prisoner/recruit. Meg says something about not wanting the big chair and the creepy skeleton teacher cuts her short yelling, “EVERYONE WANTS THE BIG CHAIR MEG!” Anyway, my wife Meg hates that I’ve heard that line
