This is for them to sell all the studio game developers they been buying recently to Sony Nintendo users and pay an extra subscription to Microsoft to play those games. Example. Diablo and call of duty

I use game pass and xcloud every day on my Steam Deck? MS even provides a guide on their own support website.
That would necessitate a consistent high down and up speeds. I still get tearing, resolution issues, and input lag and im regularly pulling in excess of 300mbps wired.
Yeah they are not even trying for native games on there. I guess they don’t like my money 🤷🏼♂️
They’d be willing to give Sony the ability to sell consoles without competition in the hopes the consumer will want to use gamepass on it?

the long term benefit I can see is probably getting gamepass on their rival's systems. That's a huge win isn't it? I mean it's already on some TVs. More gamepass avenues = more customers?

While I would like Xbox to really implement this, I hope they don't abandon making new generations of Xbox consoles. Sony needs to have competitors to prevent them from being overly stupid with their decisions.
If this is the gateway to cross platform play then hell yes do this!

People in this thread are forgetting PlayStation + extra and premium exist already. Sure there are exclusives that Xbox have on their subscription, but I don’t think it’ll be worth it
