Games where you attend to a colony and look for supplies and add bases.

New to the genre haven't really played anything but not sure where to start.

Would like post apocalyptic but fantasy or military styled ones would be cool to

I'm mostly on pc and xbox/Nintendo switch

Games you have a bunch of people to look after

A while ago, I played a game called Surviving Mars, where you manage resources to build and expand a mars base. It's pretty fun, I just haven't played it in a while and I'm a little foggy on the details.

The Wandering Village. It's post-apocalyptic, you watch over a growing village, and I believe it's on Gamepass.

A steam punk style one is coming Dec 1, just can't remember the name off the top of my head.
