Alrighty, for the better part of 20 years, I’ve had the same SSID so I don’t have to change any logins on my existing devices. Every time I just rename the network to match my devices and it has worked each time, until now. Most recently, I am using the Deco W7200 mesh system, but wanted something better for gaming.

I got just the Asus AX-11000 for this reason and when I go to rename the network, I get no wireless internet connection on some devices like my iPhone 14, Mac mini, Alexa, Firestick. But it works on my Xbox series x. It’s like the 2.4ghz network stops working even when I haven’t changed any settings other than renaming the network.

Any idea what I am doing wrong???

Are you getting connected to Wi-Fi but it's just showing no connection or the connection is not working.

If so, that would imply your SSID and password are correctly set up at least.

Are the devices getting IP addresses? Can the devices ping the gateway if they are? Are they able to look up DNS?

Perhaps they are trying to use a wpa2 password on a wpa3 network

Honestly it would save you a lot of time by just renaming the network and reconnecting the devices, you would be done by now
