I didn’t like Bauldur’s Gate 3 (alien.top)

There I said it. I thought the controls were terrible, the combat was way too difficult and lucky based and the history didn’t interest me enough to power through it. I really wanted to like it, I tried different builds and different characters, but I just can’t see this amazing game that everyone is talking about.

And before anyone says that turn based games aren’t for me, I actually love them. Fallout 1, Dragons Quest 11, Octopath Traveler, Persona 5 are some games that I love. Its just BG3 that doesn’t feel good playing.

No one is expected to like every highly reviewed game. Just as no one is expected to hate every low-review game.

Same. Play the hell out of divinity 2, but this game not so much. The combat is just awful for me, use too many spells, rest. This just puts me off in a way.
