I'm a big Mordhau player, its one of my favorite games, but a friend of mine has a habit of getting too involved in the community and finding all the cheese strats. He memorizes all of them and gets upset whenever they are used on him, to the point he feels like "Everyone I play against is just spamming cheats". Personally, since I don't interact too much with the community, I've never had this problem. What are some personal examples like this?

Not really ruined but they did ruin my favorite Pokémon for me. Vaporeon used to be my favorite Pokémon before the copypasta happened.

I mean, if it makes you feel any better, Vaporeon isn’t the only Pokémon in the Eevee line this happened to. It’s not nearly as well known as the Vaporeon one, but shortly after Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! was released, some disturbed individual wrote about their…very unconventional feelings about Eevee and in particular the sounds made by Eevee in said game…

Not only is it a literal animal but also a CHILD!!! I hate the Pokémon community sometimes.
