So I’ve been seeing people with the S9 get through a day and have it far far below 50.

I have the screen as always on, continuous heart beat measuring, and all notifications turned on. I even have the cellular version with gps turned on.

Reason why I’m concerned is that I’m in a workplace calorie challenge and i want to make sure I’m getting the most out of it.

If I’m good… I won’t look a gift horse in the mouth. I’ll take the win with extended battery life.

Do you have a job where you sit all day? The more you move, the faster the battery drains. Wife and I have S7’s. Mine drains WAY faster than hers because I’m on my feet moving all day, she sits at a desk all day. Mine barely lasts a day, she can go two if she wanted.

I think you nailed it. I really need to move more.

Thanks for the heads up on this.

What’s the battery health?

I have a desk job too but when I speak with clients, I walk around. It’s been a habit I’ve had since I started working. By the end of the day, it’s definitely below 50.

Obsessing over it is wrong.

I mean if you do nothing and are not active then it's an idle watch which doesn't use much battery.
