Titanfall 2. I hadn't played since like 2017, but I returned when I heard they fixed the servers a couple of months ago. I'm closing in on 100 hours here in its second life, and man is it ever brilliant. Top notch movement, gunplay, mechanics, weapons... and you get to drop a huge mech from the heavens and go on a rampage every so often. What's not to love?

Sim racing. Once I started I couldn’t stop, I upgraded and upgraded and now I have VR, bass shakers and it’s never felt more realistic. It’s just so fun
Witcher / GTA (any of them) lol / RdR2 / NBA2k (even though its scam now) lol
Dwarf Fortress.
Team Fortress 2. My initial thought was rdr2 but I take long breaks from that game. TF2 even without major updates is one of the best multiplayer games oat.
Dwarf fortress for me, I've had a fortress succeed so well that I afk and let a couple hundred years pass and nothing bad happened besides needing to assign jobs every now and again. On the other end I've had fortress's spawn with the underworld cracked open.
Bannerlord
If we’re talking game series then Monster Hunter. Played every US release. Individual game? Warframe. First Xbox One game I’ve played. 4000 hours last I looked.
Skate 3, halo 2 and oblivion
Marketing post?
Nope, genuine curiosity. I posted it and completely forgot. Came back to 950 comments and not enough time to read them all.
Monster Hunter. Perfect blend of the things I want from a game.
I am really loving starfield and can’t stop playing it
Final fantasy 14. I've been playing since a realm reborn came out and just last week completed a realm reborns main story quests. I just love being in that world so much, even if I don't progress very quickly
The Mount and Blade series. No real story, but the combat mechanics are fun as hell.
Minecraft, age of empires 2, conter strike.
Battlefield 1. Conquest with large maps. Each match still ends up having unique battles.
Not perfect ,but nostalgia. Street Fighter 2 and MK1.
Brotato. I just keep coming back. I can play it on my steam deck, pause any time, no real stakes, brainless gameplay. Everything I (as a new father) could ask for.
Mega Man X. I have countless runs from start to finish and have beaten the game in every conceivable manor. I still will jump on an emulator both the legal and other and I have it on an iPod touch plus I have a Super Nintendo buried around here somewhere. The music the level layouts the challenge the hidden abilities everything about it is perfect. X4 would eventually take it's place but now I still jump into the original far more often than any of its sequels.
CS2 for sure
No Mount&Blade? Come on people!!
Civilization. Just. One. More. Turn.
Now that I think about it, maybe I've never actually had insomnia. Maybe it's just been Civilizaddiction this whole time instead
How is nobody saying civ?
Returnal
Super Smash Bros Melee
Can’t answer as i don’t believe a perfect game exists lol
I don't quite have enough time to read all 950 comments right now, but I'll get to them as soon as I can.
It’s fine OP. You just started the thread, we’ll take it from here.
Old School Runescape
Diablo 2. It's not perfect, but the modding community keeps inching ever closer and closer to it.
Red Dead 2
(I don't really have to explain..)
Siege. It’s nowhere near perfect matter of fact it’s gotten so bad over the years, yet I keep going back. So it’s perfect in my eyes. Over 1.5k hours between 4 accounts on Xbox and pc
FFX, I own this game for way too many consoles.
DOTA 2
Satisfactory
